On a recent stay at the Chileno Bay Resort in Cabo San Lucas, we popped our heads into the Pescaditos Kids Club to see what they had on offer for little guests.
Full disclosure: We were at the resort as part of a 40th birthday with our friends and no kids were allowed, for the purposes of this trip. However, Chileno Bay is super accommodating for families with kids menus, kids amenities, a family pool, babysitting services and of course, Pescaditos.
When we stopped in for a look, a few kids were working on some craft projects in the brightly colored rec room. There is a flat-screen TV with lots of cute seating and blankets for movie time, tons of board games and crafts, a chalk wall, a small teepee and a little outdoor area. (It wasn't as cool as this one at the Four Seasons Costa Rica though.)
Pescaditos also has theme days for eacy day of the week. Our copy of the kids club schedule, for April 2018, consisted of Green Day (a focus on environment and nature), Crazy Lab & Science, Mexican Day (include pinata making!), Creative Day, Beach Day, Pirate Day and Fun Day (with pom pom making.)
Best of all, the rates for the kids club are fairly reasonable—$25 for a half-day and $50 for a full day and $10 per hour. (That hourly rate is key!)
The club is open to kids age 4-11 from 9am to 5pm. Pescaditos also holds special theme nights from 6-9pm for $35 per child so that mom and dad can get a few hours alone at night. Tequila!
And for good measure, we've added some property shots here so you have a better idea of the resort beyond the kids club.
