How Starbucks at Disneyland Will Disneyfy Your Iced Latte

Estimated read time 2 min read

Oh yes, there's a Starbucks on Main Street at Disneyland. And we're not afraid to say we really, really like it.

The Starbucks is actually a part of the “Market House” on Main Street so there is no blatant Starbucks signage, only a small logo on the side window. (This space was formerly occupied by the Disneyana shop.) Aside from giving a guaranteed burst of energy during the lagging hours of the afternoon (“grande iced latte with an extra shot, please!”) the Disneyland Starbucks puts its own Disney spin on the coffee shop experience.

For starters, your drink comes in a Starbucks Disney Parks cup. If your name has an “i” in it, then your cup will get the Mickey ears treatment.

Also, available are special Mickey treats, including seasonal ones like the Mickey chocolate bat cookies and the Mickey pumpkin sugar cookies.

SUGAAAAAAAAR!

Other fun elements in the shop include the “library” seating area which is anchored by an old-timey furnace in the corner and the party line phones on the wall. Pick up the handle and listen in on some “conversations.”

The baristas sport uniforms that are more Main Street appropriate (i.e. turn of the 20th century) rather than the usual Starbucks black and green, but all your Starbucks fantasies will come true here. Except, you can't redeem your Starbucks Gold card rewards here although you can use your gold card/mobile app to pay for the drinks.

This isn't the first Starbucks to open at a Disney park though. That honor belongs to Disney Village at Disneyland Paris, followed by two locations at Walt Disney World in Florida (one on Main Street and another in Epcot.)

At Disneyland, there's another Starbucks shop inside California Adventure at the Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe while a massive, proper Starbucks just opened at Downtown Disney. Plenty of ways to get caffeinated. And you will need it!
