Last month, we gave you a list of 10 awesome hotel rooms for kids, five of which had character themes ranging from Disney to Lego and Minions. And now there's one more you may want to add to your list—the Thomas & Friends Pop-Up Suite at the New York Hilton Midtown.
Debuting on August 1, the suite is actually a Hilton Executive Suite that's been tricked out with Thomas & Friends decor, toys, books, and games, including the new Sky High Bridge Jump toy (retail price: $99) and a preview of “The Great Race” on DVD (the movie actually comes out in September.)
The suite will have just two beds and according to these so-obviously computer-generated renderings, they will be decked out in Thomas & Friends sheets, which will surely delight the little train aficonado in your family.
But all this Thomas in the city swag ain't cheap. Starting room rates for the suite start at $550 a night. The starting rate. When we looked at this room for August 2, the rate was listed as $940 a night. Egads! Breakfast and Wi-Fi are included, so at least there's that. And in true pop-up fashion, the suite is only available for a limited time until September 4. So we wouldn't blame if you if booked a regular room and then brought your own Thomas & Friends sheets. #ParentHotelHacks
