You've booked your hotel in Los Angeles and now it's time to plan out what to do. We hit up the concierge team at the very family-friendly Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey for their expert recommendations for the Tinseltown's littlest visitors.
1. Visit the Science Center & Natural History Museum. Head downtown to get up close to the Endeavor space shuttle, check out the dinosaur exhibit or catch an IMAX movie.
2. Take a private charter out and explore Marina del Rey. There are many charter companies located in the Marina who cater to different adventures from casual sightseeing to sportfishing and even, parasailing. More often than not, guests can see dolphins swimming along the coastline during these adventures.
3. Hit Up a Theme Park. There are a variety of theme parks nearby like Knott’s Berry Farm which has several children's rides like the Bigfoot Rapids or Calico Railroad. There's also Universal Studios in Hollywood and Disneyland and California Adventure in Anaheim (about an hour from Los Angeles proper.)
