Hawaiian Airlines is Going All Out for Disney’s Newest Princess, Moana

Estimated read time 2 min read

Disney's first Polynesian princess, Moana, will hit the big screens this Thanksgiving (starring Dwayne Johnson and Auli'i Cravalho with songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda of “Hamilton” fame) but Hawaiian Airlines is already getting into the promotional swing of things with two new livery designs for their planes.

Onboard, allplanes will feature Moana-themed amenities such as illustrated luggage bins, special in-flight entertainment, an exclusive Moana welcome video, along with movie trailers, casting videos and the chance to purchase some cool Moana swag like blankets, towels, and mesh surfer hats. We love it when hotels come with built-in entertainment for children, especially for long flight like the ones to Hawaii. (But to be safe, make sure you bring your bag of tricks as well.)

The Moana theme will be in place on Hawaiian Airline through March 2017. Not flying on Hawaiian Airlines but still want to grab some of the swag? You can do so right here. The miracle of online shopping! The products will also be available in DFS stores at the Honululu and Kahului Airports.

Of course, this is not the first time an airline has gone all out for a Disney princess. Canada's WestJet tricked out a plane to celebrate Anna and Elsa last year.
