The Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage

Room Type: Deluxe Resort View on the third floor.

View: This room overlooked the lawn (where bocce games happen) and the adults-only pool with majestic mountains in the background. You can also peep at the rooms below that have private patios with fire pits.

Connecting Room Available?: Yes

Cribs or Rollaway Beds?: Of course (1 per room.)

Mini-Fridge: Yes, empty and ready for your bottle of milk and/or leftovers.

Other Perks: Nespresso coffee machines in the room, super fast WiFi (included in the $30 daily resort fee), glorious Asprey bath toiletries, a private balcony, a 22-inch flat-screen TV with a DVD player.

A Few Family Suggestions: These rooms come with a deep soaking tub that you can only access by stepping into the shower. It's a bit of an odd set-up and the tub is super deep, which could make it difficult to bathe squirmy toddlers. So this would be a perfect way to introduce them to the art of taking a shower. We also recommend booking one of the resort view rooms on the bottom floor that are adjacent to the main pool area. That's where you'll be most of the time anyways.

Rates at The Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage start at $329 a night with a $30 daily resort fee.
