While this airport playroom requires some specific entry requirements, it still counts as an airport space for kids, so we're adding it to the Airport Playgrounds list!

If you're an American Express Platinum or Centurion cardholder then one of the perks you'll get is access to the Amex Centurion lounges at select airports, specifically—Dallas, Houston, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Laguardia, Miami, Philadelphia, Seattle, and San Francisco.
The access requirements are strict (you can read them here), but typically the lounges are open for cardholders and their two guests. Or if the cardholder has a spouse with an Amex Platinum card and a bunch of children under 18, that's allowed too. (If you have a Centurion card, the whole crew is allowed in with just one member.) But it's only for the day of departure. You can't hang out in this lounge after you land. You also can't enter the lounge more than three hours before your departure time. Go figure. IMPORTANT: you must show your Amex card, ID, and boarding pass to get in.
But once you get past the guards at the gate at McCarran International Airport, here's what your kids will find at the LAS Amex Centurion Lounge.

Essentially a playroom with flat-screen TVs, video games, books, toys and puzzles. Parents can grab snacks and light meals, as well as drinks while the kiddies amuse themselves before the flight. (Of course, the kids can eat too. And they should! Take advantage of the buffet offerings.)

All in all, it's not the most awesomest airport playground we've ever seen (the one at McCarran's D Gates is way better) nor does it compare to a few other airport lounge playrooms but we'll take it. And that wallpaper too. Super fun!
