The resort, which will open on February 1 (maybe earlier), is offering a Mauna Lani Journeys deal which includes $250 DAILY resort credit towards experiences like dining, golf and spa. Yes, DAILY. A four-night minimum is required and you must book an ocean view room category or higher. For February, those rooms were going for $799 a night, compared to $499 for mountain view rooms. FAMILY-FRIENDLY AMENITIES: Auberge Resorts are incredibly family-inclusive and the Mauna Lani is no exception. Everything here is focused on ohana, from water sports to land adventures, an interactive Holoholo Kids Circle and more. But specifically for families on the guest room front, the Ocean View Deluxe King Room comes with a sofa bed which will allow families of four to sleep together in one room. They also have several rooms with two queen beds. Need more room? The propery has 37 luxury suites and five super exclusive bungalows, each named for the five mountains surrounding the resort and each with private pools and butler service.
Fun Fact: Mauna Lani means “mountain reaching heaven.”
HOW TO BOOK: While the daily resort credit for ocean view rooms is available on the hotel's website, if you book through Trips + Giggles, you'll get extra perks through the Virtuoso travel program. These perks includes:
- One Category Upgrade on arrival, subject to availability (upgrade is from room to room or suite to suite; upgrade does not apply to Bungalows).
- Daily buffet breakfast for up to two guests per bedroom, in HaLani Restaurant.
- $100 USD Resort Credit for Dining, Spa or Golf per stay to be utilized during stay (not combinable, not valid on room rate, no cash value if not redeemed in full)
- Early check-in/late check-out, subject to availability
