The Restaurants on Norwegian Joy

Estimated read time 2 min read

Come on The Norwegian Joy hungry. There's more than a dozen restaurants, plus room service, as well as two Starbucks. Most of these restaurants are what are called “Specialty Restaurants”, meaning they aren't included in the cruise fare and they require reservations. (As with all-inclusive resorts, the Teppanyaki restaurant gets filled up quickly.)

Here's a list of the Specialty Restaurants onboard The Joy. My two favorites were Cagney's Steakhouse which has tables outside and La Cucina, a straightforward Italian restaurant that just hit the spot.

Here's a list of the Complimentary Restaurants onboard The Joy. Don't miss the fresh juice bar and the Indian food at the buffet. Taste and Savor offer beautiful spaces with views of the ocean too.

You can always make a reservation through the touch-screen signs near the stairwells at the aft and forwards of the ship. Like so:

The Teppanyaki restaurant in a rare empty moment.

Beef Wellington from Taste.

Tuna Tartare from Ocean Blue.

Beet Salad from (sorry, I forget where!)

Charcuterie and Deviled eggs from The Manhattan Room.

The entrance to Qs.

The Garden Cafe, where you will spend a lot of time, like it or not.

Breakfast!

More breakfast!

Fancy.
