While we firmly believe that Thanksgiving Day should be spent with friends or family, we can still get behind the idea of shopping 'til you drop on Black Friday (November 29) and Cyber Monday (December 2), especially when hunting for travel deals.
Here's a handy guide to the deals we like the best and the ones that we think offer an actual deal (A lot of the deals we get are no bueno.) The ones with the ❤️ are properties that we especially love.
But as always when booking a hotel or buying tickets or renting a car, READ THE FINE PRINT, and be sure you understand the cancellation policy. Usually hotels and other travel suppliers offer these steep discounts because they are non-refundable.

HOTELS & RESORTS
❤️ ANDAZ COSTA RICA RESORT AT PENINSULA PAPAGAYO: Get 40% off your rooms at Andaz Costa Rica when you stay four nights or more. The deal is good from January 10 to December 20, 2020 but you must book between November 29 and December 5.
❤️ PENINSULA HOTELS: The luxury brand's Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals will give you up to 30% off rooms at their hotels in New York, Beverly Hills and Chicago. They are also offering discounts on spa packages and dining too.
CARMEL VALLEY RANCH: Book before November 30 and you can save 30% on rooms at the glorious Central Coast resort in California from December 1-February 29, 2020.
SOLAGE, AN AUBERGE RESORT: This super-fun resort in California's wine country (shown below) is taking 40% off rooms for weekday stays (Sunday-Thursday.) Use code CYBER to book. The booking window is from November 27-December 6 for travel dates from December 1-March 17, 2020.
CALISTOGA RANCH, AN AUBERGE RESORT: Here's another option in Napa Valley where rooms are going for 50% off for weekday stays. This resort is a little posher than Solage and rates are higher but you'll be saving a lot using this deal. Use code CYBER to book.The booking window is from November 27-December 6 for travel dates from December 1-March 17, 2020.
❤️PROPER HOTELS: This new gorgeous design hotel group—its Austin property is opening soon and we love the Santa Monica location—is offering 30% off stays from November 26 to March 31, 2020. You have until December 3 to book.
NOBU HOTEL MIAMI BEACH: This chic restaurant on the beach from the Nobu restaurant brand is offering 30% off their best available rate. You must book before December 3, 2019 for stays through December 20. Use code BF2019. Tip: This is a super tight window and Art Basel, the giant art fair, is taking over most of Miami at the start of December. But if you wait until that dies down, you can score a deal. Also, the Nobu Hotel is located within the larger Eden Roc Hotel.
❤️ ARLO HOTELS: The tiny but adorable Arlo Hotels of New York and the larger Art Deco gem in Miami Beach are offering 50 percent off hotel stays with the code CYBER19. A minimum two-night stay applies and blackout date are in place.
SEVEN STARS: Turks & Caicos on your vacation hot list? Nab a room at Seven Stars on Grace Bay Beach for 40% off. The deal is valid for stays from April 12-December 19, 2020 but you must book between November 29 and December 2, 2019. The deals are nonrefundable and non-changeable.
DREAM HOTELS: This boutique collection of hotels and resorts (Dream Hotels, Time Hotels, and Unscripted Hotels) are offering 50% off stays from November 27, 2019-November 30, 2020. Use promo code 50CYBER when book but you'll need to book between November 27 and December 5.
GRADUATE HOTELS: This is a nifty little chain of hotels adjacent or on college campuses, making them choice spots to stay when doing the college tours with your teens. Use code HEREWEGO on Cyber Monday and you'll get up to 50% off your stay.
THE RESTORATION HOTEL: This sweet Charleston hotel is offering 20% off its suites and residences. Room categories include Signature Suites, Premier Balcony Suites, One & Two Bedroom Residences, and two & Three Bedroom Grand Residences. The deal is only being offered on Cyber Monday so head to the hotel's site then to book.
❤️ THE ASBURY HOTEL: We absolutely adore this hotel on the Jersey Shore. And with their Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal, you can get up to 50% off rooms for stays through May 21, 2020. (Some blackout dates and nminimum stay restrictions may apply.) Use code SALTSALE19 when booking.
THE GROVE RESORT ORLANDO: Located about 15 minutes from the theme parks, the Grove offers all-suites accommodations, perfect for families. Book between November 29 and Monday, December 2, and you'll get up to 40% off stays in one, two, three bedroom suites. Use code CYBER19 when booking. The deal is good for stays through October 31, 2020.
TRANSPORTATION

AMTRAK: Need train tickets? Amtrak's “Track Friday Sale” on November 29 offers a steep discount on tickets. The details are kept under wraps until Friday but last year, it was 30% off nationwide train travel.
AIRLINE FLIGHTS: There are a bunch of these sales happening and it's difficult for us to keep up with all of them. BUT Condé Nast Traveler has highlighted the ones worth booking here.
THEME PARKS
LEGOLAND NEW YORK RESORT: The theme park and hotel will open in July 2020 but right now, you can snag their annual Gold Pass for 50% off at just $99. This is the highest tier of their Gold Passes and comes with one year of unlimited park entrance, discounts on dining and retail, and it works at other Legoland parks in the U.S.
❤️ GREAT WOLF LODGE: Technically, this is both an indoor waterpark and a hotel, but let's face it, you're coming here for the park, not the turndown service. On Cyber Monday, Great Wolf Ldoge is offering 48% off reservations from Nov. 26 – 27 using the code CYBER48.
