Of course, it's not going to be business as usual. Here's what they are planning when they reopen Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal’s Volcano Bay water park to the public on June 5:

  • Face masks are required
  • Temperature checks are required
  • Social distancing is required (including standing on special floor markings
  • Limiting capacity and following social distancing guidelines throughout all attractions, restaurants and shops throughout the destination
  • Increased cleaning and disinfection procedures, and frequently cleaning all high-touch surfaces
  • All team members will undergo temperature checks and wear face coverings
  • All team members will participate in extensive training on our new procedures

The hours for the parks are also shortened from 9-6pm for Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure while it's 10am to 5pm for Volcano Bay. CityWalk, the resort area's retail and entertainment esplanade, will be open from 8am to 10pm every day.

The Universal hotels adjacent to the theme park will also reopen and are taking reservations again for June 4 and beyond.
