Way back when in 2015, we recognized the need for more Mamava Stations, little capsules placed within airports where moms could breastfeed in a quiet and clean space (with enough room for a toddler or two!)
Since then, Mamava has rapidly, offering more than 850 pods in 46 states and Washington, D.C. You can now find Mamava pods not just in airports but also at train stations, shopping centers, arenas, zoos, private businesses, and universities.
Even at The Statue of Liberty.
That's right. Just in time for 4th of July, a Mamava lactation suite is now available on Liberty Island which has undergone a little mini-refresh of its own. Aside from seeing Lady Liberty in all her glory and taking a ferry ride, visitors can now tour the newly expanded Statue of Liberty museum which houses the original torch that she held. Tickets cost around $19 per person.
Guests can find the exact location of the Mamava pod through the Mamava app. If it's open, head on in and get your business done with. Much better than a bathroom!
