Roll Out: Revving Things Back up at Trips + Giggles

Estimated read time 2 min read

It has been a little while since the last update here at Trips + Giggles, and I’ve spent most of that time focusing on our future, first in relocating to a new house and neighborhood, then in adjusting to the new normal, and now in rebuilding. But as things have calmed down, I’ve been thinking carefully about what I should do with this site.

After sharing my own uncertainty about the future of Trips + Giggles, I pretty much put it aside completely. Yet families continued to reach out with questions about their upcoming trips, sharing that the information here had helped them decide where to go. Those messages were a meaningful reminder that this space has real value for traveling parents.

That feedback has meant more than I can say. It reminded me why I started Trips + Giggles in the first place: to offer real, practical guidance for families who want to travel well.

With that in mind, I’m happy to share that we’ll be resuming new content here.

For now, expect a renewed focus on family-friendly hotel reviews, especially properties that work beautifully for parents and kids of all ages. I’ll also be sharing helpful tips, activities, and on-the-ground experiences that make traveling with children feel less stressful and a lot more fun.

And I’ll be offering my services as a travel agent too, meaning if you book through my agency, you’ll receive additional perks including resort credits, upgrades (if available), welcome amenities for you and your brood, and more. You’ll pay the same rates but you’ll get personalized service than if you booked through some giant travel supplier.

But however you book, my goal here is simple—to help your family feel more confident, more prepared, and more excited for wherever you’re headed next.

Thank you for reading, for reaching out, and for encouraging this space to continue. I’m looking forward to sharing more soon.
