Traveling is not possible these days, but we're doing our best to keep up with travel-related news, activities for quarantine, and a few reviews of places we love. Want to see something specific? Have a question about travel? Email us at editor@tripsandgiggles.com.

It's been a rough few weeks for everyone, to say the least. As we wait out the coronavirus, it's been tough for us to see how much the travel industry has changed. All the places we love and all the hotels we love to stay at are no longer just a quick car or plane flight away, nor are many of them even open. But we can be there in spirit. And one place is delivering us their goods at home.

DoubleTree Hotels are infamous for their freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies which they hand out at check-in. While the recipe for this cookie goodness has been kept under wraps for a while, the Hilton hotel brand has decided to release the full recipe as a comfort to everyone staying at home.

“We know this is an anxious time for everyone,” said Shawn McAteer, senior vice president and global head, DoubleTree by Hilton. “A warm chocolate chip cookie can’t solve everything, but it can bring a moment of comfort and happiness.

Wise words. Thanks DoubleTree!
